Gender and Sexuality

Mindset Health Hub provides a safe and open place to seek support and explore your gender identity, relationships, and sexuality. Your psychologist can provide a listening ear and strategies for common stressors experienced by LGBTIQAP+ peoples such as coming out, discrimination and societal biases.

The queer community is disproportionately over-represented in mental health and suicide statistics, hence the importance of providing individually tailored care responsive to the community.
Our psychologists will provide unwavering support to empower you to be your true self.

Neurodiversity

Creating an environment that allows you to engage, supports you emotionally, sensorily and cognitively, is our mission. We offer sensory toys and the flexibility to adjust lighting, sound and take movement breaks during your sessions. Always provide feedback or share ideas that may help you engage.

Sessions can support you with better understanding or articulating your differences and abilities to others, finding value in your unique abilities and strengths, and requesting accommodations in social, work, study or public contexts.

If there is something that makes you more comfortable we can adjust in the room or you wish to bring to sessions, you are most welcome.

All Abilities

Your psychologist understands we are all made differently and require individualised supports.
Your psychologist will endeavour to understand how the world and others interact with your disability, and support you with strategies to maximise accessibility and quality of life.
Our office is wheelchair accessible and we are open to providing any accommodations to facilitate better access or engagement with services, please let us know how we can help. For safety and privacy, our office is only accessible to persons with the pin code for the door. This may be difficult for persons with vision, motor or cognitive difficulties, so please advise ahead if you need assistance opening the main door, or your clinician will let you in at the time of your appointment. Hanna is skilled in supporting those on the NDIS with assessment, reporting, intervention and applications for Disability Support Pension (DSP) or the NDIS.
