Meet Danielle Cannon
Danielle is passionate about empowering her adolescent and adult clients through evidence-based psychological interventions. With a compassionate and collaborative approach, she creates a safe space to address anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, and any challenges, helping clients achieve meaningful change.
My Story
Danielle is completing the final component of her Advanced Entry Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), working towards Clinical Psychology endorsement. She holds a PhD from Griffith University and has earned multiple degrees, including a Master of Professional Psychology, Master of Mental Health Practice, and Bachelor of Psychology (Honours).

Her diverse experience spans private practice, telehealth roles with Beyond Blue and COVID-19 mental well-being support, and work with primary school children managing anxiety, ADHD, Autism, and learning disorders. She has also conducted research on resilience and treatment adherence in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) patients.

Danielle values family life and cherishes time with her own family, often enjoying the natural beauty of the Gold Coast or spending time by the water. Danielle has completed specialized training in perinatal psychology with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE). As a mother herself, she is drawn to supporting parents and individuals anticipating parenthood, understanding that each journey is unique and requires personalized support.
